Every result produced by the calculators on this site is an estimate for informational purposes only. The coverage formula, the published brand rates and the waste allowance are transparent conventions — deliberately simple, deliberately cited. They cannot see your surface porosity, your shop temperature, your pouring technique or your tooling, and they are not engineering calculations.

Before you buy or pour

• Verify the product. Coverage rates, mix ratios, thickness caps and recoat windows are summarized here from official sources with capture dates — formulations get revised, so confirm the exact product against the manufacturer's own datasheet (linked on every brand page).
• Mind the safety basics. Epoxy work means ventilation, gloves and eye protection; uncured resin is a sensitizer, and sanding cured epoxy makes dust you shouldn't breathe. Safety data sheets from the manufacturer govern — no calculator output addresses health or safety.
• Structural and commercial pours need a professional. Load-bearing encapsulations, marine applications and large commercial floors change the engineering, not just the volume. No calculator substitutes for licensed design.

Nothing on this site is medical or safety advice. Cured epoxy is generally inert for incidental food contact, but that is the manufacturer's claim to verify on their datasheet, not ours — and skin sensitization from uncured resin is the most common real-world injury in this craft. Gloves are cheaper than allergy tests.
